The Bridge Project - Support information

Support Centre

Bridge Support Centre

Bridge Support Centre in Manor Road, Sulgrave is the base for our Support Services and now thanks to the Big Lottery Fund now also houses our Health Workers.

As a woman-only project we offer friendship, support and information, but most of all we LISTEN.

We are open to ALL women, regardless of age, race, religion, sexuality, class, ability or impairment. We recognise that women face problems and difficulties daily, and we are here to help you through.

Services provided include:  A full-time Confidential Listening Service with trained volunteer listeners, Self-help groups, Advocacy Service and Drop-in facilities and FREE Creche facilities are also available. The 'Drop In' group offers a befriending service where women can meet other women for a cuppa and a chat. A creative expression group provided in partnership with Priority Healthcare Wearside, offers occupational therapy, which enables women to explore feelings of depression through expressive art and discussion sessions.
