Bridge Family Centre

Albany Family Centre was originally set up in partnership with Surestart and housed our Community Parent Team.  Although Surestart funding ceased in 2007 and their work moved to the Washington Children's Centres Bridge have strived to keep the centre open and it continues to provide education and training to the residents of Albany and its surrounding areas.

As well as being a venue for our educational courses and listening service, Albany also houses our team of Connect workers.  We also continue to host youth provision for the area with our RAVE young womens group on a Monday night and a mixed youth group on a Tuesday night. Albany 'All Stars' Carer & Toddler Group continues on Monday mornings.

Bridge have now formed a new partnership with Albany Primary School and have been providing new courses for parents.  We will soon be able to offer computing courses too when the School's new computing facility opens ..........watch this space.
